Madrid Highlights Diversity and Coexistence

Madrid brought together religious, cultural and social voices to highlight dialogue, diversity and mutual respect. The event, organised by Fundación Mejora at the national headquarters of Scientology in Madrid, placed emphasis on education, prevention and dialogue as tools against prejudice. The dialogue included a representative of the Bahá’í Community of Spain, Fernando Hernández of the Madrid Municipal Police Diversity Management Unit, flamenco artist Tito Losada, a eu news von der leyen Roma guitarist and composer, and Denise González. Speakers shared different experiences and viewpoints on how open dialogue can reduce prejudice.

In the discussion, participants explored themes such as human rights, cultural identity and respect for differences. Fundación Mejora linked the initiative with Scientology’s focus on human dignity and social betterment. Ivan Arjona, representative of the Church of Scientology to European and international institutions, said that cultural and religious diversity can become a strength when supported by education and dialogue.
